Sales have increased by 120 per cent at Promenade Hamilton Apartments in Brisbane, which has notched up more than double the sales compared with the same period last year.
In total, 20 two and three bedroom apartments, on the river at Hamilton, have sold at Promenade, situated at the heart of Portside Wharf, which features some of Brisbane’s best waterside apartments.
The sales total almost $10.5 million over the last six months, up from eight apartments at $4.7 million to July 2012.
Brookfield Residential Properties Project Director Lee Butterworth said the figures were a sign the market was recovering and a trigger for the launch of two new residential stages at the riverfront dining and living precinct in Hamilton.
“Off the back of these outstanding sales, we gained the confidence to launch our next residential stage of luxury riverfront apartments, Pinnacle at Portside Wharf which has posted $32 million in sales since April,” he said.
“The response we had with Pinnacle has also prompted us to launch a second residential building, Link, with both projects set to commence construction later this year.
“The recent run of sales in Promenade means it’s now 90 per cent sold so buyers need to be quick if they want to snap up one of the remaining luxury waterside two or three bedroom apartments.”
With total sales of $93 million, Promenade comprises 172 luxury one, two and three bedroom apartments over 16 levels featuring premium finishes such as stone benchtops, European appliances, large balconies and a car space.
It is the fourth residential building to be completed at the boutique retail and dining precinct along the river in Hamilton renowned as one of Brisbane’s best mixed used communities.
Mr Butterworth said the unique living opportunity gave Promenade an edge, with buyers and investors seeing value in the location.
“Located right in the heart of Portside Wharf, residents of Promenade are afforded the privilege of having a mixed-use development right on their doorstep,” he said.
“The many luxuries of living atop a boutique retail and dining precinct make Promenade a rare lifestyle opportunity in a sought-after location.
“Portside Wharf offers both the tranquillity of living by the water, and the vibrancy of residing in a lively precinct that is the beating heart of the Northshore Hamilton development.”
Portside Wharf is now home to more than 30 retailers including a Dendy Cinema, IGA supermarket, Jetts Fitness, Ella Bache and The Burrito Bar as well as popular Brisbane fashion stores such as Urbbana Mens Style Studio, Co Design homewares and Bous for Men barber.
The precinct also offers some of Brisbane’s best riverfront dining with restaurants including Sono, Byblos and Gusto da Gianni and new coffee hotspot Deer Sir.
Promenade Hamilton Apartments are available from $525,000 and displays furnished by interior design house Coco Republic, are open for inspection.
