Year in, year out, Portside Wharf makes the silly season a breeze, with food, festivities and family fun all in the one place.

Brisbane’s premier riverfront shopping and dining destination – Portside Wharf – had your Christmas presents, party preparations, and celebrations all wrapped up in 2013, with a host of gift packs, catering options and Christmas Day lunch packages on offer.

IGA Portside stocked everything for a fabulous Christmas lunch from sumptuous hams and turkeys designed-to-order platters. For those who wanted to avoid slaving away in the kitchen on Christmas Day, the popular riverside restaurants across the precinct had you covered.

From fine dining to a relaxed family outing, Portside Wharf delivered waterfront dining at its best. Gusto da Gianni, Belvedere Bar & Grill and Restaurant Manx all dished up extra special menus on Christmas Day, with all the seasonal favourites on offer.

With maple-glazed belly of bershire pork, local caught prawns, ballentine of turkey breast and traditional Christmas pudding on the menu at Belvedere Bar & Grill, tables filled fast.

Gusto da Gianni maintained a traditional Italian style with dishes such as antipasto all’ italiana and ravioli della regina, with rolled turkey breast also featured.

Turkey seemed to be the constant Christmas meat of choice with Restaurant Manx serving up braised turkey leg with cranberry compote, along with grilled barramundi and sage risotto for mains, and three delicious entrees including scallops with minted peas and crisp pancetta, confit duck rillettes and hot smoked salmon.

For those living at the luxury residential and retail development along the river in Hamilton, what better way was there to spend Christmas Day, than being wined and dined at a quality restaurant, literally at your doorstep.

Boutique cafe Deer Sir also delivered a very popular Christmas treat – Egg Nog. Portside Wharf’s favourite coffee shop bottled up their own concoction of the famous Christmas drink which was a huge hit and we hope we see it again this year.

The boutique retailers and fashion stores across the precinct also came up with plenty of ways for you to spoil your loved ones from Ella Bache pamper vouchers to Bou’s for Men gift packs and specialty screenings at Dendy Cinema Portside.

For the person who has everything, Max Brenner suggested giving the gift of chocolate, with their special Christmas gift sets. With eight handpicked, unique gift sets to choose from ranging from $42.50 to $132.00, there was a gift to satisfy even the fussiest relative.

If you missed out last year and all of that sounded too good to be true, why not avoid the last minute hassle this year and get your Christmas sorted at Portside Wharf.
