More than $4 million in penthouses have sold in a matter of weeks at Pinnacle at Portside Wharf, leaving just one remaining in the latest stage of the boutique retail and residential development along the riverfront in Hamilton.
Designed by award winning Noel Robinsons Architects, Pinnacle at Portside Wharf boasts an absolute riverfront position and comprises 162 one, two and three bedroom apartments, penthouses and River Terraces.
With over $60 million in off-the-plan sales, the 16-storey building is currently under construction with completion set for early 2015.
Brookfield Residential Properties Regional Director Lee Butterworth said the sales figures were an indication that buyers were returning to Brisbane’s the luxury apartment market.
“The penthouse sales suggest the market has turned a corner and high end purchasers are out to secure luxury property in a prime location,” he said.
“There has already been strong interest in the one remaining penthouse and with limited, absolute waterfront stock available in Brisbane, we don’t expect it will last long.
“Pinnacle’s penthouses are finished to the highest standards with chef-style kitchens and exceptional finishes.
“The high ceilings with floor-to-ceiling windows create a sense of spaciousness while showcasing the stunning views and capturing the river breezes.
“With direct access to the rooftop infinity pool, barbeque area and gymnasium, these residences really are the pinnacle of luxury residential living in Brisbane.”
The penthouses comprise three bedrooms, four bathrooms, two separate living areas and two balconies and include two, side-by-side secure car parks.
They range in size from 207sqm to 241sqm with the largest penthouse still available.
Pinnacle is the fifth residential building at Portside Wharf – a mixed use, masterplanned development on the river in the blue chip suburb of Hamilton offering some of Brisbane’s best boutique shopping and waterfront dining.
Mr Butterworth said having more than 30 boutique retailers and fine dining restaurants at the doorstep was a major drawcard for buyers.
“These penthouses offer a lifestyle of absolute luxury, with residents able to relax and unwind in the comfort of their home or enjoy the vibrant precinct just downstairs, with some of the city’s best riverfront restaurants, cafes, boutiques, Dendy Cinema, a day spa, barber, gym and more,” he said.
“Opportunities to live atop a lively precinct such as Portside Wharf are extremely rare and buyers see the enormous value in being able to purchase an apartment where the lifestyle and amenity come complimentary.”
Portside Wharf is located just six kilometres from the CBD and 15 minutes from the domestic and international airports, with easy access to the Gateway Motorway and public transport including the City Cat.
Portside Wharf is the first stage of the Northshore Hamilton urban renewal project that will eventually become home to more than 10,000 residents.
The community comprises four completed residential buildings – Promenade, Flare, Infinity and Loft – with two new stages, Pinnacle and Link, now under construction.
Portside Wharf is now home to more than 30 retailers including a Dendy Cinema, Jetts gym, IGA supermarket, day spa, barber and hairdresser as well as boutique shopping and some of Brisbane’s best waterside dining.
